A Few Senior Pictures….

To Know her, Is to love her!

Annie is a bright, accomplished, and free-spirited young woman whose passion for learning and life shines through in everything she does. Throughout high school at Wyoming Connections Academy, she has consistently excelled academically, earning a spot on the honor roll every semester. Having been homeschooled since the 5th grade, Annie has thrived in an environment that nurtures her natural curiosity and creativity.

A naturally quiet and introspective person, Annie also cherishes the moments spent with friends, sharing laughter and lighthearted silliness. As a devoted Harry Potter fanatic, she finds magic in everyday life—especially when she visits Universal Studios, where she feels like she’s truly stepping into a world of enchantment.

Outside the classroom and fantasy realms, Annie’s heart belongs to the animals. As an active member of 4H, she has earned accolades such as Grand Champion Middle Weight, Reserve Champion Heavy Weight, Grand Champion Ultrasound, countless first and second class placements, and a consistent spot among the top three Senior Showmen. Whether it’s in the showring or tending to her goats, her dedication is unmistakable. Her love for animals extends to her cherished role as "Aunt Annie" to three delightful little rascals—Corbin, Lilly, and Adaline—who adore her playful and caring nature.

During the summer, Annie pours her energy into her work at the Cody Cattle Company, where she not only excels in her role but also forges friendships that promise to last a lifetime. Embracing her free spirit, she confidently takes charge of her own time and dreams of the future. While her plans after graduation remain open-ended, Annie is considering working full-time for a couple of years to save up for her ultimate goal: starting her very own business in animal care, operating as a boarding facility.

We are all excited to see where the next few years take Annie, as she continues to balance her academic achievements, personal passions, and ambitious dreams with grace and determination.

Cody, Wyoming is a highly sought-after vacation destination, known for its breathtaking mountain scenery, wide open skies, and true western charm. Nestled just outside Yellowstone National Park, Cody draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each year who come to experience its stunning landscapes, rich history, and adventurous spirit. Here are a few of my biggest tips when traveling here:

Getting Here

  • By Air:
Cody is served by Yellowstone Regional Airport (COD), just minutes from town (and about 5 minutes from our home!). It has daily flights via United (through hubs like Denver and Salt Lake City).
➤ Pro Tip: Book flights early — Spring and summer are our busy travel seasons!

  • By Car:
Cody is a scenic drive from many major cities:

    • 30 min from Powell, WY

    • 1+ hr from Billings, MT

    • 6 hrs from Salt Lake City, UT

    • 7 hrs from Denver, CO
Keep in mind some mountain routes may be slow-going — but the views are worth it!

Rental Cars & Transportation

  • A car is highly recommended for getting around Cody and the surrounding areas.

  • Rental cars are available at the airport, but they can book up quickly during tourist season.

  • Uber/Lyft are limited here — so don’t rely on ride shares.

What to Pack

  • Layers! Even in summer, Wyoming weather can swing from warm days to cool nights. Our weather is beautiful though, especially in May. I think you’ll love it!

  • Sunscreen & Water Bottles & Chap stick — Cody is sunny and dry!

  • Comfortable Shoes — Whether you're exploring town or the great outdoors, you’re going to want the right shoes. Don’t miss out on all of the beauty our area has to offer.

Local Tips

  • Grocery & Essentials: Cody has an Albertsons, Walmart, and several small local markets. And LOTS of souvenir shopping downtown!!

  • Cell Service & Wi-Fi: Service is good in town but can be spotty out in the country. Most hotels and rentals offer Wi-Fi.

  • Dining Out: Cody has a great food scene — but reservations are a good idea during peak weekends!
